The Scatterbuss is a weapon in Schism. It is a kind of shotgun that fires an evenly distributed spread of 3 bullets at a time, in a wide angle. Its high burst damage and low range lends itself towards combat in close quarters.
Tips
- The Scatterbuss is capable of defeating enemies in one or two shots even with no extra damage in the early game. Make attempts to get up close to enemies to kill them quickly.
- Each bullet still has decent damage on their own. The weapon is reliable at killing enemies even from a medium range.
Notes
- Despite firing multiple bullets at a time, the Scatterbuss still retains a full 100% damage multiplier.
Trivia
- The weapon's name appears to be a portmanteau of the words 'Scattergun' and 'Blunderbuss,' the latter of which is an early predecessor of modern shotguns.
