Restored Texts is a relic in Schism. The player is able to find and obtain multiple copies of this relic during their run. The associated god for this relic is Chaos, and it may be granted as a stackable relic reward every 3 favor levels.
When picked up, it grants the player enough XP to level up.
Tips
- It is recommended to pick up the relic after levelling up, possibly after clearing the entire floor first; picking up Restored Texts at higher levels increases the amount of XP it gives, in tandem with the XP-level scaling relationship.
Notes
- The XP that Restored Texts grants is equal to the total amount of XP needed to level up, according to the player's current level (i.e. the player would receive 15 XP at level 1, even if they had 5/15 XP needed.) All leftover XP is untouched and added on to the next level bar.
- Unlike Esoteric Texts, Restored Texts does not grants the player +1 point to any of their 8 stats randomly, and instead grants a choice of a stat point allocation.
Trivia
- The sprite for Restored Texts is blurry when viewed up-close; this is most likely an error from resizing the sprite to fit the game. The Restored Texts sprite shares this quality with Ambrosia Mix, Blood Scrubs and Impaler Ring.
