Cross Nail is a relic in Schism. When picked up, it grants the player 25% ATK SCALING, with each copy adding the same amount.

Synergies & Interactions

+ Positive, = Neutral, - Negative

Relics

  • + Blood Ritual: Cross Nail's bonus gives a multiplier to Blood Ritual's ATK increase.
  • + Bipolar Motor: The ATK SCALING bonus is multiplied by Cross's Nail's bonus, should the player have above 50% HP.
  • + Chrono Speeder: The ATK SCALING bonus is multiplied by Cross's Nail's bonus, dependent on the amount of time left in a room.
  • + Upper Body Eurobics: The ATK SCALING bonus is only added to the total scaling. However, the ATK bonus is multiplied by Cross Nail's bonus.
  • + Zealot's Mask: The ATK SCALING bonus is multiplied by Cross's Nail's bonus, dependent on the amount of time left in a room.
  • - Artist's Can: The bonus given by Cross Nail is halved.

Gods

  • + War: The 25% ATK SCALING bonus is multiplied by Cross's Nail's bonus.

Tips

  • This relic is considered highly useful, providing a consistent multiplier bonus to one's attack.
  • This relic's total ATK SCALING bonus is multiplied alongside other ATK SCALING relics/bonuses (War's 25% boost, Zealot's Mask, Chrono Speeder, etc.)
    • The only exception to this is Upper Body Eurobics, which gives a flat +20% boost.
  • This item can be found in a 3D Printer, including the Philosopher's Stone card. This can lead to several copies of the same item to be printed out should the player have the resources available, and in turn, them dealing significantly more damage.

Plan S is a legendary card in Schism. When used, it kills the player, but spawns 5 merry chests.

Strategy

Regardless of how weak or powerful the player is, this card will kill the player. Even Smooth Moves's invincibility cannot prevent the player from dying. Reviving is the only way to be able to claim the 5 merry chests. The ways to revive in-game include:

Relics

  • Eternalism Scripture: If the player has enough MP to revive, they will live.
  • Ninefold Path Guide: If the player has at least one revive remaining, a stack will be consumed, but the player will live.
  • Quantum Immortality Textbook: A literal bet on life if there are no other ways the player can revive, but if the check succeeds, the player will live.

Gods

  • Death: If the player has a revive remaining from the god, they will live.

Misc

  • New Soul Revival: If the card is also held while Plan S is used, both cards will be used, but the player will live.

Tips

  • This card is risky, as an accidental misclick can lead to a game over. However, 5 merry chests can greatly change the outcome of the game. It up to the player's judgement to determine if they should hold onto this card, or abandon it.
  • If the player has Quantum Immortality Textbook, and no other ways to revive, they should only use Plan S if they are certain they will lose otherwise. If the check fails, it's game over.
